need help. stable at 2.4ghz, unstable anywhere above 2.4ghz.
is there any way to make it more stable (discluding lowering HTT multiplier and using a memory divider) basically my cpu won't go above 2.4ghz without being unstable (i can startup but after a couple hours it'll shutoff, and it wont pass prime95 tests).
is there a way to increase stability? temps dont ever go above 50C... id assume those are fairly stable temps especially for a dual core. if i get water cooling will it be more o/cable or have i reached my limit?

Voltage may be why. It also may be caused my another computer component, i know i wasnt able to get past 2.4Ghz with one of my ram sticks no matter what i did, but when i bought another it worked fine.

yes, i increased it when needed... to no avail. sry thats what i mean, wouldn't go above 2.4ghz without overvoltage... and wouldn't be unstable without overvolt.
heres the thing, its was just as unstable at like 2.48ghz as it was at 2.64ghz... one needed like 25mV increase and the other needed 100mV increase... would this be heat then? i duno, i have a fairly decent heatsink with a temp controlled fan (vantec thermflow) and cpu temps dont even hit 50C (max ive seen was 48C)
would these temps cause instability in new AMD procs?
will lowering temp create alot more stability or is 2.4ghz my max? im debating getting liquid cooling :)
