Can A file be a mp3 as well as a jpg?

I have a file strange which is a mp3 file as well as jpg ( or bmp). and another file is not only a zip also a jpg ( or bmp).

How could it have been done?

If anyone knows, please tell me the way.... or a program working like that.

I hope this is right post here.

do you mean that its a file that you can listen to and look at it as a picture? or is the filename .mp3jpg or something like that?
 
I definately know that jpg is an image file and I think an mp3 is a music file so I don't think they can be the same file. And a zip file, isn't that a compressed folder or file.
 
I think he means he can open it with WMP and play the music portion of the file and then open it with say Paint and view the image portion of the file.
 
I don't think that would be possible. I mean, MS Paint is not that sophisticated. Its a very simple program. If he/ she wanted to view an image that was a part of the file then they should open/ run the file on iTunes and the image should be viewable one the side-bar. All he/ she has to do is to click the button that shows the song artwork.

I should make sure my question.

I have a file named "Example.mp3". Course it is a mp3 that I can listen to with a mdeia software, and also it is a jpg (or bmp, anyway "bmp or jpg or gif" doesn't matter ). I mean It is a image file I can view with a image view program like photoshop, ACDSEE....

I remember the image was a cover image of the album that containing that song( "Example.mp3" ).
