Can a netbook be connected wirelessly?

ok cheers....so if it's built in does it search for the wireless router in the house?

Assuming your running a Windows operating system, look in you task bar at bottom right on desktop.

Assuming you have a wifi card built in and the switch in in on position..you should have wireless networks available.

open that up and select your connection from the list.!

Hope that helps..

If you don't see this in the task bar..you either have wifi turned off, or dont have wifi and will need an adapter to link you to your netgear!

No, you need to have a link from computer.

Unless, you get a mobile broadband card--but I'm unsure how well they work?!

Sometimes you can connect your computer through a cellphone, for instance,,mine has a built-in modem and I can connect my laptop to cell phone via. usb cable/

but its like dial-up speed--suitable for email, light surfing..etc
