Can A Super Multi 8x DVDRW burn cds

I was thinking of buying a Compaq Presario v6302AU Notebook and it has a Super Multi 8x DVDRW with double layer support drive anyway can it burn cds as i thought you can only burn cds on a burner if it says CDR or CDRW and this one says nothing about it just DVDRW on it and i dont wanna be wasting my money as i only burn cds (not dvds)
Thanx for looking also if someone can give me a review on it that will be great

I think it can burn DVD. But don't let that prevent you from buying a laptop, a DVD burner costs like 50 bucks, and it's bound to come in handy one day. Almost every single decent desktop and laptop has a DVD burner today.

Any DVD burner should be able to burn CDs.
