^^ Thats not going to "crack" anything. All that will do is let you play divx files with media player.

yeah, but the OP sounds like he wants to crack the encryption of DVDs, not personal DVDs

It sounds like the OP wants a "decoder", i.e. the right codec.

K-Lite Codec Pack includes a good variety of codecs, that should do the trick...

^^ You dont need a dycrypter to watch movies on your pc. Just download and install klite codec pack or divx. Then pop the disk in and watch the movie.
