My mom got a computer and she got this email sent to her and i dont know what it means or anything and she has a HP computer so here is the email she got
in order to increase security and protect angainst evolving e-mail attacks,it is very important that you make the following changes to the mail settings on your computer.change incoming mail server to mail.duo-county.com. change outgoing mail server to smtp.duo- county.com what does it mean

Does she use a pop3 retrieval program like outlook? Do you live or near duo county, orreceive mail from them?

Changing the server of the e-mail wont do that, but it could be sort of like spywaye, but not. They could just read every single e-mail sent and recived by it. your not going to get a real virus or spyware from it though.
