can anyone make any improvements?

To the wishlist linked to in my sig. Are there any significant improvements that wont increase the price by more than $30? Stupid newegg charges tax in california, so I'm trying to keep this around $1270 or so as I'm ordering after July 22nd, the core 2 quad Q6600 price drop day.

Also, can someone tell me if it's better to get the 3.0ghz core 2 duo that's coming out soon or the 2.4ghz Core 2 quad...They'll both cost $266.

Remove the cooler master psu on newegg since you're getting the ultra, change the gigabyte 965 for a P35, for 90$ you can get the antec 900 on FRY's if you want to, you might want a wired keyboard since changing batteries on a keyboard is kinda lame and tedious

just ordered the 900 on fry's, thanks for letting me know, was about to order from newegg :cool:

as for the build, it looks pretty solid

lol but as for the case, I was thinking about the antec 900 but alot of people said it was VERY loud. is this exaggeration or should i just go with it. As for the keyboard and mouse...I know, but I couldn't find any good looking wired keyboards...I want one though, anyone have a link?

Oh and @ Impulse, any good quality 22" ones for around $200?

Isn't that loud, the main problem is the dust, you would need dust filters in the fans otherwise it would get dust very fast, other than that is fine i recommended it because of the space inside and the great air flow (which is why it gets so much dust :P)
 
hmm, at the fry's nearby, I can just buy those compressed air things for $3 each....so that's not a problem, as long as it cools well. I already updated rig with new psu, case and motherboard. lol i hate having to wait till the end of july though. Also, anyone have a suggestion for a nice looking wired or wireless keyboard and mouse with media and other buttons for around $50?
