Do the fans turn on? and just nothing comes up on the screen, do you here noise? Try resetting your bio's. I dont know if ti will help but tis something fast and easy if you know how and might help.

I wouldn't say I am an expert in computers but either the plugs are not plugged in correctly or you just fried your motherboard. I had that problem a month ago. My motherboard turns on but nothing shows up. I fried mine with human static. I might be wrong but it just sound like the same problem I had

TigerDirect seems to be having that problem with boards lately. My buddy got 2 boards from them both were dead.

140 Gb, and actualy, it's 160 Gb. and, yes, both power plugs are connected, the 4 pin and the 20 pin. everything is connected, just, nothing happens when you press the power button. i've tried resetting thi bios and i will try again. i hope the board is not just dead.

All I can think of at the moment, is double check your wiring from the case to the m/b, because that is how the power switch works. You need to make sure the wires coming from your power switch are properly connected.
