can change desktop background

hi u guys,


what are causing of can't change even set up desktop background?
the background just black n cannot be changed.
when i go to display prperties, at the desktop tabs, all original windows background n picture can't be clik. it's like it is disable.
I just not know where can i enable it back
any idea?????


running windows XP PRO SP2
account : computer administrator
 
Do you maybe have it set to view desktop as webpage? Go to the properties for your background, click advanced or whatever (its been a while) and make sure view desktop as webpage is not checked.
