Can external hardrive be inputed in computer?

I have a Seagate 500gb drive. It is not in the case because it broke so i took it out and its just collecting dust in my room. Is there any way to transfer it into the computer to make it an internal drive? Or is there a website that sells cases/shells to replace broken ones that you know of.. PLEASE HELP

Should it be a standard IDE/SATA connection, you can just connect it to another computer.

Yes, you can purchase another enclosure for the drive or you can mount it in a computer. Another possibility is to get a dock for it. First of all, you need to determine what type of drive it is. Is it SATA or PATA? What size is the drive? 2.5 or 3.5 inches?
