Can I add RCA hookups to this LCD screen?

Hi, I'm new to this forum because I couldn't find this information anywhere on the internet. My ultimate goal here is to make my PSone system totally portable for less money than it would cost to just go out and buy a compatible screen and battery. (Those would total around $75 on ebay.)

I have a cheap old portable DVD player (Model PD560 by Sungale) on hand which I have disassembled and removed the screen, which I hoped to somehow hook up to my console. The easiest way I thought I could accomplish this would be to add RCA input to it. It was connected to the motherboard on the DVD player via a white plug with 15 holes in one row. On the other side, going into the screen, are 15 wires in this order: black, red, black (x11), white, navy, black, and red. There are no other wires or cables coming out. After looking for some time online, I saw that this looked similar to the hookup for a laptop monitor, but I couldn't be sure because of blurry pictures.

This appears to be a somewhat standard A/V hookup, so is there a series of adapters and/or components I could buy to put RCA hookups on here for under or at least close to 20 bucks? Clipping the plug and soldering to the wires is also an option.

I have also tried to take the screen apart further to see what wires lead to what, But I don't have a small enough screwdriver.

Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks.

An update

Ok, I went to Radio Shack the other day and bought some precision screwdrivers, and using them, I was able to take apart the screen casing. The last 4 wires were leading to a pair of built-in speakers, and the other 11 were leading to another card inside the screen. From that card, there was a set of two wires (red and white) leading to a small chip with seemingly nothing on it, and then turning into a pink and white wire (in that order) then leading into the side of the LCD screen itself. Near that area, there is a black wire (probably the main ground) screwed in, which leads back to the main card for the screen. There is also a thin ribbon cable leading from the bottom of the screen to the main card.

After examining the motherboard in the base of the DVD player itself, I noticed that the wires are actually labelled, in this order: ST, 9V, GND, SCL, SDA, 5V, 3.3V, 3.3V, GND, SC, SY, GND, L+, L-, R+, R- (last 4 are definitely audio.) The odd thing here is that there appear to be 12 labels for 11 video wires.

I did some research online, and I found out that SY and SD refer to two types of S-Video signal and that SDA and SCL refer to analog signals (serial data line and serial clock line, respectively.)

What I still need to know is:

A)What would a wire labelled ST do, or is there such a thing?

and

B)Which wires would I connect to a battery in order to supply power to the screen? (It already is on DC power.)
