Possibly, within reason, but it's not worth it. You'd have to make sure you got the same pin grid array, for one, which they change almost daily, you'd have to make sure the BIOS supported it for another... And lastly you'd have to invest money in a $300 AMD laptop.. No AMD laptop is worth putting money into, especially a $300 one.
Better to dump it and get an Intel Centrino Duo or Core 2 Duo laptop. Intel laptops are simply blowing AMD laptops out of the water... so much so that AMD issued a release that admits they are getting slaughtered and they won't have a competing solution until mid 2008 (of course by then Intel will have something new out).
AMD laptops should be avoided at all costs.. Spend the extra $50 for an Intel.
