Ok so this is the deal, I obviously visited the wrong site(lol), and a download link came up on my screen. It said, "do you want to download the following from the internet" it wouldn't let me refuse, cancel, or exit out of the screen. So the dickhead that I am decided to click download instead of restarting my computer. Within minutes after confirming the download the programs, files, everything on my laptop started to vanish. Luckily I didn't have anything too important on the laptop, but never the less, everythings gone. Now the computer goes on and off fine, I just don't have access to anything. I am absolutely lost right now. I'm going home on tuesday, and probably am just gunna bring this to best buy or something like that. Can anyone give me any sort of advice here?

Is there a popup on the screen saying you're infected or anything like that? In any case it sounds like you got a virus.
Read this post and follow the instructions. Post all necessary logs back in this thread.
Additionally, download and run Unhide.exe. It'll unhide all of your shortcuts, documents, etc.

Yeah that's a virus. Go through the thread I linked and follow those steps. You won't be able to install MalwareBytes, so just download Rkill (link in that thread) and run it until the message goes away. Then you can install and run MalwareBytes.
