Can I install windows 7 on this gaming pc?

You should be able to install it just fine, if that disc has been previously used you may have to do the telephone activation the first time you install it.

thanks james :) that's good to know, I think it's brand new but I didn't know you can do telephone activation thanks for the help :)

also do you think this computer can run battlefield 3?

yes it will, although with such a high spec system you might want to think about spending just a little extra and getting a ssd
 
that's great news! thanks :) I am going to buy this pc then :) what's a ssd please? sorry I really do know nothing about computers - I can just about afford this one tho :)

Thanks :) I had a look and I really want one apparently things load faster and the computer loads up quicker when turned on :) I really need to get saving! are they hard to fit in?
