Can I make a new tab in Firefox show my home page?

When I open a new tab, it shows this....

I realize that the search box takes me to Google, but is there any way to make Google's web site show up?

Yes, go into settings and have your homepage set to Google so whenever a new tab is open Google will come up. You can set it up so that every time you open your browser, you can have tabs open with whatever you want.
