Hello
As far as i am aware i have a 1gb stick of ddr 400 3200 low density ram.
I say this as i am not sure if it is high or low density.
I was wondering if i bought a 1Gb stick of ddr 400 3200 high density ram and put it in my motherboard, along with my low density stick, would this work - or would one of the sticks not register? My motherboard is

so im not sure whether that will even take high density ram, although it is quite new.

Does anyone know? I'm asking as high density seems to be cheaper now.

Thanks

how could i go about finding out if my motherboard supports high density ram.
And also - I thought that to run two sticks of RAM They had to be exactly the same ?

There are only two ways to find out. Check the ridiculously short compatibility list in your motherboard's manual, which lists exact memory modules that are guaranteed to work, or just try it out yourself.
