can i play games

hey i was wondering if i can handle some games. like halo, doom 3, rollercoaster tycoon 3, the path of neo, ect...

specs:

dell M140

procesor 1.73 ghz


Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900

those are teh important things. so can i play the games? and if i cant handle those games what se some good games that can be played on this?

You will never, EVER, be able to play any good game on that graphics controller. I'm guessing you have 256mb of ram so that wouldn't work too well either. It is integrated so thats the absolute bottom-of-the-line. Basically, you can do games like Rollercoaster Tycoon, probably Midtown Madness 2... Halo, Doom 3, Half-life 2 will not even install. In short, you need a good graphics card, 512+ RAM... then you might be able to get by.
 
Thats not much of a difference. And Yes you can play games, but they will be on low settings for newer games, and medium-high settings for older games.

Yes. I have a crappy card myself, MX4000 64mb, and Halo runs almost OK, pretty laggy at 800x600. Your card isn't too bad, you could get by.

Yes, at very low settings... ;) You'll need something with a x600 or higher to get decent gameplay and graphics. With that, you may not be able to run it, if you can, it'll be so low that it'll polygon boxes and not textures or details and still stutter.
 
I have a HP laptop with the ati 200m graphics. I can play games like doom 3, BF 2, HL 2, etc but its on low settings though.
