I have a BFG 550W it's a little out dated if I remember correctly, purchased it years ago. I am trying to put in a EVGA 660 GT SC, I already have the parts purchased and the BFG I've had for some time. Would it work together?

EVGA requires -
  • 450 Watt or greater power supply with a minimum of 24 Amp on the +12 volt rail.****
My BFG is capable of

+3.3V 22 A
+5V 15 A
+12V 1 18 A
+12V 2 18 A
+12V Rails 2
-12V 0.3 A
+5VSB 2.5 A

So if I understand this correctly, I can NOT run this right ?

Wattage wise it should be OK but the limited rails might make it dicey. You'd 'probably' be fine but if you notice any instability under load I'd start looking at the PSU.

it will run fine. 18+18 = 36 amps. the 24 amp spec assumes the rest of the computer will be run on that rail and obviously it will split up the load.
its more than enough. i wouldn't bother trying to run two of them but it might even do two. i wouldnt try that though.
