please help i got three free 256 pc133 from a friend but my system is pc2100, can i put them in along side the stick or even replace that one and put all of my pc133 sticks in?? cheers

there is not such thing as pc133, i can only assume you mean that the ram operates at 133 clock speed, so ddr266, which is exactly the same a pc2100.

Either way you can always mix and match ram ,but it will always run at the slower of the ram sticks installed

What is all this PCxxxx stuff anyways? What's the speed?
PC1600 = 100Mhz, DDR200
PC2100 = 133Mhz, DDR266
PC2700 = 166Mhz, DDR333
PC3200 = 200Mhz, DDR400
PC3500 = 217Mhz, DDR433
PC3700 = 233Mhz, DDR466
PC4000 = 250Mhz, DDR500
PC4400 = 275MHz, DDR550

whatchutalkinbout??!?!?! PC66, PC100, and PC133 are all SDRAM chips that do not operate in the "Double Data Rate" and just run at their listed speed.....i think he's talking about pc133 SDRAM :P and i think he's asking about putting SD with his DDR... i dont think you can mix them... i know you can mix slower DDR with faster DDR, and it will run at the slower speeds... but unless you have a mix board, i dont think you can use SD in a DDR mobo
