Can I remove this graphics card?

My friend has an Dell Inspiron 1100 or 1200 or something like that (laptop). He wants to know if he can replace his graphics card (intel 915) with a different one so he can play games. He also would like to know if he can put a better processor in it (he now has a celery 1.6M).

1. The graphics, no, I very much doubt it as its soldered onto the motherboard.
2. There are some laptops with removable CPUs, but some are again soldered in. Google it, see what you can find.
 
1. almost definately not
2. wouldnt reccomend it even if it were possible. he might as well but one with a better processor and gpu. that would be killing 2 birds with one stone. it would be expensive though. the way i see it though, it is your best option
