Can I Remove This Section?

Hi All!

I was just curious. Can I remove this section in my File Explorer which is circled in the screen shot below? And, is there any downside by doing this?

go to your Folder Options and under Privacy, deselect Show recently used files.

It won't make that bit go away, but it won't show you anything.

Thank you for your advice, but I have a qestion: Can you please tell me where I can find "Folder Options" and "Privacy"?

I'll be leaving here at 3PM PST but will be back tomorrow.

next to filters, click on the 3 dots and go to options.

Question: You had said that "It won't make that bit go away", but is there a way to make that diretional arrow face permanently to the right as in the screen shot below?



OR, is it possible to remove this circled "Can't show recent activity" section below?
