can i rum RAID with these?

the only difference is the cache i think. ones 16mb and ones 8. i bought the first one when i built my computer, and the second was in a combo with my mobo. so i want to know if i should do raid

cant see why not, i dont think the amount of cache will stop you from making an array

You gonna run RAID 0 or 1? My manual says identical drives are required for 0 - For Raid 1 it says an existing and a new are OK as long as the new is as large or larger than the existing. Why I don't know. Maybe they need to transfer data at identical rates for the performance advantage of Raid 0.
