Can I run decent games?

Hey guys,
Just got a new computer and I don't want to purchase any games it wont be able to run well. I was wondering if it could run games like fable 3, rift, etc. It already has handled minecraft and overload maxed out but i dont think that is a very good representation. Here are the main specs:

i7-2600 Core @ 3.4Ghz
6 GB RAM
Nvidia Gforce GT 420
Windows 7 (not that it should matter)
I dont know the board, I didnt pick it.

It will handle games alright but not not amazing. GT 420 is a bit on the low end side IMO. I would think you you will be on the lowest settings on a lot of games.
 
The GT420 is your 'weak' spot, but you can run anything you want, just dont expect a smooth experience in Witcher 2 on Ultra or anything!

If you can't stand the performance, a GTS, GTX or Radeon HD 6xxx will server most people perfectly in several different budget ranges.
