Can I run SLI?

I'm looking at possibly getting a second 8600 GT and running it in SLI but to be honest I'm not sure if I can with my mobo. I couldn't really find anything out from Biostar's Website about it but did see an article somewhere about my board being able to do it. I may sound like a noob here but I've been out the mainstream of things for a bit and am trying to catch up. My setup is in my sig, thanks in advance.

nope, you would have to get a 750a, or 780a, but to be honest, 8600gt's in sli is kind of pointless, if you want a multi gpu system, and you have the money, get rid of your current psu, and graphics card, and get a pair of 4830's(4850, 4870, 4870x2 if money permits) and a larger psu

Thanks DCIScouts, after looking into a bit more I realized that my mobo is running ATI based integrated graphics which alone would tell me I wouldn't be able to run SLI, especially with it not being a higher-end mobo. I may just splurge for an ATI GPU and maybe run it in Crossfire later on, but not too sure since my budget is limited at the moment.

You may still not be able to do Crossfire. However, if you get one of the HD4850 suggested by El quad core, you could play anything you want to, and wouldn't need to Crossfire them. At least, not until you need a new motherboard.

According to Biostar the mobo does support Crossfire so I do have that option, but your right, I'll end up getting a whole new system before I get to where I need to run Crossfire. Thanks for the insight.
