Can I swap my HSF's? (Stock Black Edition955 vs Zalman 9500A)

I would assume that's what I'm doing, since CPU-z shows my sticks under Slot #1 and #3. I'll double check and make the correction when I get home from work tonight. Thanks again for all the advice.
What are typical multi-threaded applications? Just so I can make a better decision about ganged vs. un-ganged.

Well slot 1 and slot 3 would have a space between them. Most AMD boards require the ram sticks to be right beside each other for dual channel mode. Slots 1 and 2, or slots 3 and 4.

Just move the one in slot 3 over to slot 2 and bam you'll be running dual channel :)

Good!

Now go change your ram to the proper 800 mhz (1600 ddr) with the 7-8-7-24 timings it should be at. You're only running 1333 with 9-9-9-24 timings.

Also, bump your north bridge speed to a 12 multiplier for 2400 mhz. The shouldn't require any voltage tweaks. Go to 2600 if you overclock your CPU at all. Remember I said take the main cpu multiplier to 18 for 3.6ghz and manually set your Vcore at 1.35v. 2600 north bridge might require a small bump in the cpu-NB voltage.
