Can I upgrade my Graphics card?

Hello fellas!

I've been looking to upgrade my graphics card, as a co-worker told me that the other specs of my PC are fine.

Currently, I have an NVIDIA 275 GTX, and it's a bit subpar and annoying since i casually I get minifreezes that can last about anywhere from 1-15 seconds with black screen flashing and receive an error message "your display driver has stopped working but has recovered". I tried to fix it many times but I think I might as well just get a new graphic card now.

I was thinking about getting either NVidia 660 GTX or 760 GTX. I was wondering 2 things -

1) Can my current spec hold either cards well?

2) Do I need to upgrade something else for either card to work on my system?

This is my system spec:

I see this is your first post, so welcome to the forum. Do you know what you have for a power supply? That will impact which card you are capable of running smoothly.

Your PSU is fine.

I don't even know why you'd consider the two year old GTX 660 when the GTX 760 is here. The GTX 760 actually replaced the GTX 660 Ti, not the GTX 660 - so the 760 is miles faster than a 'plain' GTX 660.

I just bought a GTX 760 and I can tell you it is a good card, but I think its replacement is due soon so perhaps wait a little longer for that? 'GTX 860' I guess it will be called.

For gaming though I think I would recommend you spend a little bit more and get a GTX 770.
