Can I upgrade the cpu on my motherboard? Or is it too old?

Personally i like AMD 64s, They Run Cooler, Are BETTER PRICED!!! which is a main! and just overall are very reliable, im running AMD 3800+ on a Gigabyte K8-N Pro-Sli Motherboard and it runs perfect, Quick, reliable and most of all during the hotter months, Cool.

If you compare the prices, the Core 2 Duo's tend to cost the same for a motherboard and CPU.
