Can I use restore on Raid 0?

If i were to use Raid 0 and make two partitions, C and D. C for windows and D for data.

If my windows were to miss up somehow Will i be able to use program like Norton Ghost or programs alike to restore the windows with the image that I created before with the Ghost without losing any data on the Portion D. like how a single disk will leave the data on D intact?

No, you can't. If both partitions are on the same "array", then if the array craps out (which it will), it will total both partitions.

If the array stays in tact, then yes, you can recover the system partition or data partition independently.
 
Nope, not usually. In rare cases you can rebuild the "array" *choke* if you define it with the exact same parameters as the old one, providing *everything* is functioning perfectly and you don't initialize the recreated array.

When they go, they usually REALLY go. Believe me, RAID 0 is something you really don't want to do unless you don't value your data.
 
So if the array is intact I can restore the system with my ghost image right?

For the moment I am more concerned with my operating system kicking the bucket than my raid failing. Which i manage to do quite often so when it happens I am counting on my ghost image.
