No not unless you're using a server which can support it.Is it possible to put 500 GB of Ram in computer?![]()
Okay!!No not unless you're using a server which can support it.
Well, you could do some serious gaming, and you could run like 300 virtual machines at one time(breaking the world record)Why would you even need all that RAM?
FPS isn't dependent on quantity of RAM. In fact, ECC RAM is slower than desktop RAM as it has additional parity checks.Well, you could do some serious gaming
That is more dependent on the CPU and/or GPU depending on the application, again the quantity itself doesn't dictate effective speed.you could do video editing LIKE A BOSS!
What's your source for this 'record'? We probably have higher than that for density at work (a cloud services provider).300 virtual machines at one time(breaking the world record)

^ This!Look up your motherboards specs, it will list max memory for your platform
YOU STOP pOSTING HORSE****.Wow....are you serious? Just stop posting horsecrap like this...
Bwhahahahaha!
I never said i was going to use ecc ram...FPS isn't dependent on quantity of RAM. In fact, ECC RAM is slower than desktop RAM as it has additional parity checks.

Well unfortunately, in order to theoretically use 500gb if ram you would have to use a server and server machines only use ECC ram.I never said i was going to use ecc ram..
You have to because the most you can use in a consumer-grade board is usually 64GB. So you have to use a server which uses ECC RAM.I never said i was going to use ecc ram...
I have a machine with 256GB of RAM with a pair of E5-2695 v3s. And I don't want to run 300 VMs on it... Besides which I'm fairly sure they don't keep records for VMs running on a single machine. It's a bit sillyWell, you could do some serious gaming, and you could run like 300 virtual machines at one time(breaking the world record)
