Hi, I am very impress with the mac book pro battery life and the small foot print of the ac charger.

What make the mbp battery last so long with one charge? is the OS or is the hardware itself?

Is it possible dual boot with the native OS and windows 7? If it is possible will the MBP battery last as long in windows 7 as the native Apple OS?

Anyone has any experience on this?

Thank you.

In response to your question as to why the battery lasts so long, it's both.

As for running another OS, that is possible, there is this thing called Boot Camp which comes with Mac OS X made just for dual booting Windows. I doubt there would be much of a difference in battery life tbh.

you can very well use windows 7 in a macbook pro. just go to utilities -> bootcamp.

for further steps check youtube. loads of videos are there.

Thank you guys, how about the battery life MBP run under Windows 7? anyone have any experience? I had read on this and other forum that th MBP battery could last up to 7 hours between one single charge, is that true for regular computing?
Thanks again.
