Well Im getting anew laptop come the end of April beggining of May and am going back and fourth between a macbook or a dell. I just wanted to see if the macbook would be able to run Vista. I know it can bootcamp Xp. Thanks for the help!!!

I have a macbook pro C2D 15" laptop, and all i can tell you is that it is the best laptop I have ever owned. It is fast, reliable, 1" thick, light weight, great battery life, built in blue tooth and a/b/g wifi, 120gig HD standard, 1gig of ram standard, and I run OS X, Windows, and Linux on it flawlessly.

Oh yeah, the back lit keyboard is pretty pimp as well, and the ambiet light sensor will kick it on if it senses there is not enough light to see the keyboard. It is very nice.

I run windows natively and via parallels desktop. I am getting ready to makea virtual OS of Unbutu here in a sec.

I disagree about the sonys, I don't think sony makes a good product anymore and I do not recomend buying one.

And yes, it will be able to run vista in future releases of boot camp, etc. However, vista sucks big time and I would recomend just staying with windows xp for now.

dont get a dell, and dont get a mac book. get a sony

Do you have any evidence to back up your opinion? If not, don't post.

As for the Macbook...

And for which computer, I've used Dell's and many feel very high quality(much more than their desktops) but a few had some heat problems. That was over the summer, so maybe they have corrected this. As for Apple's, I've read some reviews about them being some of the best laptops around. I have strongly considered getting one myself eventally. Once my Averatec dies, I might actually check them out
