Hello all ! Im a new member here ! as the thread title sugests i cant get my pc to Boot up . I thought i would ask this question on a forum . Just to see if anyone who is more computer savy than myself has any suggestions. The system i am using is A gaming pc intel Quad i3 8gb ram 500g hdd windows 10 2g . Ok the problem seemed to start , when i downloaded a registry cleaner. i dont know if i have removed something which is preventing my computer from Booting. All i know is i used the cleaner . shut down the pc . Then the next day when i tried to start it up . It went to the Bios screen option . Which i cant move on from i always return to that screen . I tried removing the cmos battery to reset the bios but that didd not work . One thing i noticed after that, was the Time and date was no longer correct. Which i read somewhere was a sign of a problem . Any help would be greatfully recieved Thanks Regards AB

The time and date being wrong is because you removed the battery. It really sounds like whatever cleaner you downloaded and used screwed up your system. What program did you use? There really is no reason to do a registry clean as you'll do more damage than anything as you can see in your case. Sounds like your bootloader could be missing or corrupt and since it doesnt seem like you are knowledgeable in computer repair, you'll most likely have to take it in and have them diagnose it. Or you could slave that drive to another computer, back up your important data and then just reinstall windows.
