Can Not Restore

Well I want to restore my desktop to a certain spot butit won't let me do it. My internets is running really weird, like slower than usual, i mean real slow. any suggestions?

the best way is to combine these four:
1) msconfig
2) hijackthis
3) ad-aware
4) online untivirus check( like: www.pandasoftware.com/activescan)

Also...

Spybot SEARCH AND DESTROY is really good when used in conjunction with AdAware SE. That should provide the core protection from spyware and adware.

I have Spybot and ad-aware se professional, thier great. But i use norton goback so i can do anything that i want with my system just by clicking the safetry mode. Its the best. It used to be Roxio Goback though, dunno why it changed, even Partition magic has changed to norton.
