Im about to build a computer, i have some experience just not up to date on the best parts and such. Main questions: The harddrive i selected says it uses Ultra320 80pin. That the same thing as a sata drive or do i need to purchase some certain cable to connect it? Will that power supply have the correct connectors for that video card? thanks.

also please recomend any other parts that will be a better bang for buck or will just be better overall, thanks

Harddrive - Fujitsu MBA3073NC 73.5GB 15000 RPM 8MB Cache SCSI Ultra320 80pin Hard Drive - OEM

GPU - BFG Tech BFGEGTX2801024OC2E GeForce GTX 280

PSU - COOLMAX CUG-950B 950W ATX12V V.2.2 SLI Ready

RAM- OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2

PROC- Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz

MOBO - EVGA 132-CK-NF78-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI

i dont know about the hard drive. sorry. but i think you should get two of the gtx 260s, unless your putting the gtx 280s in sli. and try to get combo deals so that you save money to get a quad core.
to get combos go to the tab that says specials and go to combo deals. there are really good combos for gtx 260s like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.145120

there are TONS. you can save hundreds of dollars. with that get the Q9550 with something like this combo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.146455

good luck

Your mobo supports these right hurr:
Storage I/O
1 x UltraDMA133
6 x Serial ATA 300MB/sec with support for RAID 0, RAID1, RAID 0+1
1 x Floppy disk drive connector

A good alternative would be the Western Digital Raptor WD740ADFD 74GB 10000 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 1.5Gb/s Hard Drive – OEM ($109.99 at Newegg).

Also, your mobo has a combo deal on Newegg right now with a GTX 280 card.

if you want a fast harddrive get a raptor, because thats not sata,
never heard of 80 pin or whatever

i wouldnt suggest buying that strong of a psu unless your going to be putting two 280's in sli, or else its a waste of money, do you have a disk drive, case and operating system?

ok thanks for replies, im going to switch out the hdd for that sata raptor, i wanna keep the same proc ( going to be for gaming and imo the dual core is better than quad atm way cheaper) and i already have a combo deal on that mobo with the proc. or otherwise i would pick the video card combo. k thanks again

You're going to eat your words over a measly 60 bucks but your choice.

I'd also look into the Q8200, as with the P45 series :)
