Completed my build plan and buying the case tonight.
Just need someone to check over the mobo and CPU compatibility with the rest as i changed them from what i had to start with, and could someone confirm that the CPU cooler is necessary if im not planning to OC to start with?

memory-could go up to a higherspeed but not really neccesary
cooling-not sure WHY but they say that its intel pentium d/4/celeron compatiable. Not sure why it would matter cuz they are all socket 774 just pointing it out
blueray drive-dont see why it wouldnt be compatible

Just to start, you do know that alot of those parts are outta stock right? (cpu cooler, power supply to name a few).

Mobo, spend the extra to get a good brand and its 750i chipset so you can add another 8600gt down the road to sli if you want:

On a budget, the freezer 7 is prolly the best "cheap" cpu cooler.
