Can someone explain something about google searches for me?

Okay, I don't know how to word this well, so you'll just have to try to follow me. I typed in the user name of someone that frequents various "un-savory" sites. I know he uses instant message on these sites. Nearly every day, one will pop up that says "X amount of members using IM 1/17/2015 3:29 p.m.(Reload). This is what came up today. Does this mean that this person was actually on this site this day and time or could it have been another day. If it could have been another day, about how many days back are we talking here? Can anyone explain this to me?
 
"x members using IM @ time" Sounds like it is likely the number of people currently in the sites messaging service and nothing to do with any particular person.
 
My question was not about the number of people on the site my question was how does google cache sites? On this particular date, does that mean the person was on the site or was this from days or weeks ago?
 
Like today when I did the same search it came up and said X amount of people on IM 1/19/2015 6:20 a.m. (Reload) The one from 1/17/2015 does not show up. What I am asking is was this person on this website on this day and time given or was this captured at another time.

Okay, the 9/21 comes up every time I do a search on this persons name and has since the end of September. You will notice the 1/19/2015, which came up this morning. Yesterday it was one that said 1/17/2015, but it's not there today. I think perhaps you understand my question. Hope SOMEONE can answer me.
 
When I click on those links, it gives me todays date. I'm not sure what all those numbers mean by the user name and not sure how that site works.
 
Generally Google has a crawler that scraps sites and stored the data. It could be daily or less often for less frequently updated/visited sites.

The names and numbers that show up in those links are site specific. The list seems to only be good right now. Like John, even with your links, I only get current details.
 
I too have experience it for many sites and some time i find it fake as i don't think that site is that popular which could have so many users on it at time.
