Hi, always remember to run HJT in safe mode and be sure to rename hijackthis.exe to a less common phrase such as ipwnu.exe and place it in your drive root=C:\ipwnu.exe rather than inside a folder or desktop.

Now open HJT, check and fix these two entries:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k
O20 - Winlogon Notify: arm32reg - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Settings\arm32.dll

Then, update your Java. The latest is v.1.6.1.

"arm32.dll" is installed by [Backdoor.Eterok.C] Backdoor Trojan. It uses Windows' Winlogon Notify reg key to auto-start and then runs its programs from there.

Reboot into safe mode and post a fresh HJT log.

Why, you can't see the running processes in safemode:confused:

be sure to rename hijackthis.exe to a less common phrase such as ipwnu.exe
And where's the need for this with this log?

@ johnny

Run Hijackthis and select "scan". Put a check next to these entries.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k
O20 - Winlogon Notify: arm32reg - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Settings\arm32.dll

Close all windows and browsers, and hit "Fix checked".

Delete these files.

C:\windows\lsass.exe < make sure this is in the Windows folder, not windows\system32.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Settings\arm32.dll

Then download, install, update and run a full scan with AVG Antispyware.
http://downloads.grisoft.cz/softw/70/filedir/inst/avgas-setup-7.5.1.43.exe

When the scan completes, quarantine all it finds, and save the report.
Then restart the computer, and post a new Hijackthis log, along with the AVG report.
