Can someone pleeease help me?

I just reformatted my computer and lost the installation disc for my printer.

I looked online and found the right one and this message keeps popping up. I am basically illiterate when it comes to computers so pleeease help me I am going crazy.

It just keeps popping up everytime I hit Try Again.

BTW its for a photosmart 1000 printer.
 
who makes the printer? and did you download the software from the official site of the manufacturer?
 
If you go to the HP site, just go to the Support or Download section, and get the latest drivers and software there, its much easier than getting a CD.

yeah that is the best option. as burgerbob said, they should have a list of the printer drivers on their website, you just need to pick out your model, and then download the driver, install it and you should be laughing
