can someone tell me how to update my video card?

i have a hp pavillion zd8000 and the videocard has never been updated and i completly dont know how to do it lol

can someone write out detailed intructions on how to do this

With most laptops, this isn't possible. Sorry!
 
Are you having video issues? Is the system running fine and doing all that you need it to do?

If the system is running fine there really is no need to update the graphic drivers. A good rule concerning drivers is if it ain't broke don't fix it.
 
no im not having issues i just figured since its from 2006 and its never been done i figured it needed to be done

wont it run better if i updated it?

Good question. That again depends if you are having issues running apps, videos, CDs, games, etc. If not there is no need to but if you want to there is no problem doing so. If you run into problems you can always go back to an earlier version.
 
well i put counterstrike source on it and it runs ok for what it is but this laptop runs better than my old 2004 desktop which idk the stuff that was in my desktop but this laptop is from 2006 and runs alot better than my old desktop but counterstrike only runs a lil better maybe even the same so i figured if i updated my video driver that it might run better u know what i mean? what do u think?
