I know that say if someone has a 360wat psu and is trying to run sli or a x1900 the computer would

not turn on, give errors, reboot or shutoff at times, etc. But can a psu effect fps in games but give no errors of any kind? If so any tests to run and check? Or does that not happen with a psu

First off, watts don't really make that much of a difference... I mean, to an extent they do(perhaps with SLI or crossfire) but it's really amps you should worry about first...

As for dropping FPS's, I suppose it could. Aside from lockups and resets, some GFX cards will drop their performace if they don't get enough power. Now you're usally told this with some error dialog, but yeah, that would definetly cause a drop in performace...
