Im planning on getting this xps dell laptop for some gaming and homework!

i7-2630QM processor 2.00 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 2.90 GHz

which laptop would be better? and should I get 1920x1080 instead of 1366x768

Yeah it can run it around 40 fps at 1920X1080 resolution which is smooth but at your resolution it will run more smooth. I would say go for the 1080p resolution.

I saw to change the monitor and it costs 150 dollars more if I want it to be 1920x1080 is it worth it?

In my opinion yes, that's definitely worth it. I won't even look at a 15" laptop with only 1366x768 resolution.

I have the same XPS 15 laptop with only 1366X768 but with GT 540M, I use it mostly for college, but when I want to game I connect it to a Full HD Monitor or my TV this Monitor that I connect is only 130$.

But I would agree that 1920X1080 is worth it mostly if you game outside your house.
