Can this system manage Vista Home Perm 32bits ?

Yes, it should run fairly well. Especially with the 2 gigs of RAM you're putting in there. Not a bad processor either. It's no Core 2 Duo, but it's decent and will do the job.

The graphics card could be better, but it will do. Not bad for the price. Especially for being compatible with DX 10.

Thank for your advice . im deciding to change to Window Vista . Mainly i use my system for web borwsing and sometime high end gaming average quaility and about 20 FPS will do well for me . Is there a big diff between D 840 and D 940 one is 2 x 1MB will the other is 2 x 2 MB ? Does 8600GT support aero glass effect in Vista ?
