Hi guys,

Can VM install in a windows 7 32bits machine? I have a laptop with 32bit processor and windows 7 32 bits. it say the processor not have the feature to support vm, I also have a laptop which have 64 bit processor but I install 32 bits windows due to some compatibilty with some old software I use.

I try to install a windows 98 vm to one of these machines. what is the best way to do it. can I install the win98 in a usb jumpdrive?

Thank you.

If the processor is not virtualization-compatible then you can't install 64-bit VMs in any other regardless of whether the host is 64-bit or not, but you should be install a 32-bit guest OS on a 32-bit host OS, yes.

The guest OS is the virtual OS and the host OS is your main OS by the way.

What software you are using to run VMs?
