I have 3 computer and a couple routers, hooked together, to share the printer and the cable. wouldit be possible to look and get files from one computer on to another?

if your router has a built in switch (which it probably does) then it is possible, you need to set up file/folder shares to do it.

yea ... I do it all the time with my two pcs. but you do have to enable file sharing in each folder or drive.

I have two hard drives in my second pc. In that pc I share the "shared documents" folder and the D drive.

Yup yup...there are a fewways to do this... Mostly depends on your OS.

Just as a note. Windows 98 can be a pain to network to an NT based machine :P

would this work with xp home? cause i also have 3 computers networked via non-wireless router. hahaha. and i can acsess the shared networkfolder, but not each computeres c:\. i dont know hoe to do it?
ahhhhh help?
haha:)

you will need to go to the individual computers and go to the My Computer area, then right click on the C: drive, or whichever drive you want to share, then click "Sharing and Security" then click the little disclaimer, it may ask you if you want to use the wizard to enable file sharing, or just enable it, or it may ask you nothing at all, but set up and then click the little box that says "share this on the network" or something along those lines, im going off memory cause im too lazy to look
