Can you overclock ram/memory

yes.. by putting up the fsb frequentie and not putting the memory on a divider. ( then you overcloth the processor too tough)
 
got into the bios, ( usually press delete before the windows loading screen pop's up. )

there would be a tab called Frequentie and Voltage control,. there you can change the 'CPU host frequentie' thats the one you have to change :)
 
It's up to you...remember if you overclock you will void warranties. Also, unless you know how to OC, I wouldn't reconmmend doing it, as it can bring you loads of trouble.

But if you really want to, just raise the FSB very slowly, like by 1mhz at a time, and see if the system is stable. You only need to raise the Vcore if the OC isn't stable, but do not raise it by too much, as more voltage = more heat. In addition, if you have a bad OCing motherboard or ram, especially generic, you might not get far at all.

i want to OC my CORSAIR XMS2 DDR2 800 C5 RAM to C4

so would i have to up the voltage because last time i just put it at 4-4-4-12-2T and the voltage at auto and got no post so i had to reset bios

so would i ahve to raise voltage
