Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully helping me out.

I have a Sager NP2096

I have the Core 2 Duo P9500, The Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT, and a 250GB Hitachi HDD. 64bit OS Windows 7

Can you please tell me if these temperatures are safe and if they are safe, how much wiggle room do I have to go hotter?

I used HWMonitor - CPUID for this check:

Hardware Monitors
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hardware monitor Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo P9500
Temperature 0 37°C (98°F) [0x3F] (Core #0)
Temperature 1 37°C (98°F) [0x3F] (Core #1)

Hardware monitor NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Temperature 0 61°C (141°F) (GPU Core)

Hardware monitor Hitachi HTS723225L9A360
Temperature 0 40°C (104°F) [0x28] (Assembly)

Hardware monitor Battery 1
Voltage 0 11.10 Volts [0x2B5C] (Current Voltage)
Capacity 0 79920 mWh [0x13830] (Designed Capacity)
Capacity 1 79920 mWh [0x13830] (Full Charge Capacity)
Capacity 2 79920 mWh [0x13830] (Current Capacity)
Level 0 n.a. [0x64] (Wear Level)
Level 1 100 pc [0x64] (Charge Level)

Thank you very much for your help. :D

haha, well they are pretty safe, well least for a desktop they are. Most computer parts don't start to overheat untill around 70°-80°C.

That is fine, processors are able to run at 100ºC while still operating. Most computer enthusiasts will tell you that is not really optimal, but that is what the manufacturers say. Anything below 60ºC is very decent under a load.

My rig idles in the 30s and hits the upper 50s when under load

CPU temp is really good for a laptop a lot of desktops don't even run that cool.
GPU temp seems high for an idle temp then again it is a laptop.
HDD temp is pretty good and is about average for a hard drive.
