Can you recommend an LCD for great text?

I want a 17 or 19 inch LCD to use with my laptop. Mostly for text, some occasional, very simple photo editing, but crisp text is key issue. Want one that can rotate to portrait mode. And preferably, under $400.

buy the 19in hyundai IMAGEQUEST LCD. under 400.

as for CLEAR TEXT all you need is TWEAKXP/cleartype monitor

IT'LL make the text dark and sharp and easy to read.

That sounds pretty interesting. Can you tell me more about it? How much does it cost, where can I get it, how does it work? Thank you so much.
 
LG & Dell UltraSharp

I seem to run into these two models a lot in my internet searches:

LG l1980u (I like that the pivot software on that model automatically detects and adjusts to portrait format when it is rotated.)

Dell UltraSharp 1905fp

Anyone know about these two in particluar, if they are good for text?
