Can you watch videos on an ipod?

ive have the new iPod 4G and theyre not in color yet, you can play mp3 and aac on it, no movies, but u can use it as a harddisk of 20 gb or 40 gb, depends on wich one u have

Im getting the ipod mini.
I like the mega small ones so they dont take up room in my pocket
