I've got a Dell 5150 laptop that is in need of several repairs.* The existing CD/RW-DVD Rom drive can't see disks of any kind most of the time, that is unless you slam the drawer really hard then only about 50% of the time. I have the original DVD Rom drive that came in the computer and was swapped out after purchase.* I need to back up and move some data files before repairs and really won't need to burn dvds after the repairs.* Can I install the old drive back into the computer with no issues and can I write data files to it?
