Cannot change 60hz to 144hz PLEASE HELP!!!!

I'll bet you are using ether VGA, or a HDMI 1,3 cable.
Make sure your use HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 (if using higher than FHD resolution) or Displayport or DualLink DVI.

@Intel_man Yes. Tried that. Still 60hz.

@_Glitch I can't tell which HDMI it is. What's wrong with VGA? The Manuel said to put all the ports in. DVI, HDMI, VGA. And then I thought...well maybe it's the HDMI because it didn't actually come with the monitor. So I pulled it out (after I turned off everything and turned everything back on) and the display won't turn on. I pressed on the side under the monitor and changed the input settings to DVI (or tried) and it just changes back to HDMI...I WANT MY 144HZ

I read that it can only do 144hz thru DVI input. Read the comments about this monitor on Newegg, lots of info in the pros/cons

@Laquer Head Well that's what I keep doing. I switch it to DVI input but it won't change, it goes back to hdmi. The monitor won't even turn on unless the hdmi is in. PLEASE help. I really want this to work.

Because dvi-d is a different cable completely to hdmi. You can't just switch to dvi if you're connected via a hdmi cable.

SORRY. Nope. I'm stupid. Figured it out thanks to you guys. I'm so dumb. XD thank you!!!!!!

The ironic part is I just noticed that on the original link you posted, if you scroll down to the questions about the product, the second one talks about the proper cable for the 144hz refresh... :)
